About Me

Shubham, typing

Hello! My name is Shubham. I'm a motivated, driven and innovative senior studying Computer Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I am also pursuing minors in Math and Business Economics, anticipating earning a Bachelor of Science degree by May 2026.
Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong interest in various aspects of technology, innovation, and programming. I am particularly enthusiastic about wearable technologies, firmware development, and human-technology interfaces. However, I am always eager to explore new technologies and expand my knowledge in these areas.

Work Experience

Research
battery charger discharger setup

Research at Wireless Sensing Circuits and Systems Lab in the College of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.
Creating a method to non-invasively monitor the state of charge of a battery with minimal effects of relaxation (least out of all existing methods). Aiding the process through code for sensor data reading using a microcontroller, soldering boards, data engineering, and setup design.

April 2023-Present

Research with the NanoML team in the QuMETA group at Purdue. Working on benchmarking a Thermophotovoltaic Inverse Design Dataset and Machine Learning Models. My current work has been related to running and assessing an Adversarial Autoencoder performance on a new dataset, which can then be used in other works.

March 2025-Present

AdversarialAutoEncoder
LPCVC

Research with the Vertically Integrated Program at Purdue, working with the CVES team, in the Low Power Computer Vision Committee with the goal of organizing and researching the Low Power Computer Vision Challenge.
Using Machine Learning to create an open source reference solution that participants must surpass to be qualified in the challenge. Creating a submission pipeline and evaluation model for 3D reconstruction computer vision models.

August 2023-May 2024

Research at the Nanomaterials Lab at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, Mexico.
Created a High Voltage Power Supply using recycled electronic components. This was used to power an Electrospinning Device, which is still used for research at the lab.
Published a paper in the ICIEE 2022.

July-September 2021
